GroundBox grounding system

Hi Thomas,

After “sanding” the GroundBox [Gen.2] and another Refine grounding cable into my chain last Saturday, I was more excited about the effect (s) than usual. But why “more”? Quite simply... I am very familiar with the extremely, I would like to call them that, positive effect of Refine grounding cables. But the effect of the GroundBox is new to me because, as you know, I have used a homemade copper grounding block so far. And what this one”simple“Kupferblock's sound was already able to make me rather skeptical at first — and so far. What should go even better with the GroundBox? I did not “see” what hit me the first time I listened to it in this form. No, I wasn't prepared for that. There was a significant increase in sound in all parameters that are important to us high enders. But the description in hi-fi evaluation parameters falls short here. There is undoubtedly more of the existing hi-fi available, but the most important thing is not the what but the how and the ability to pair everything so skillfully that it doesn't sound like hi-fi at all! Does something read Spooky, but it arrived at my place in the same way. When it comes to minimizing interference, I would like to focus on one, if not the most important, point and sum it up this way... Each of us high-transmitters expects tuning or an accessory to “do” something and thus improve the sound. That is exactly what Refine cables and GroundBox do not do. They're not doing anything! They don't add anything and they don't reveal more than is really there, in the music. The opposite is the case here. Because they're taking away a lot of stuff. A lot of signal interference and irritation. As a result, effects have disappeared that I was not aware of before. The music sounds even cleaner and purer, incredibly precise and accurate, but not anemic and thin. The proverbial “flesh on the bone” is present and the timbres can be described as intense. Put simply, there is less of all the ballast that covers and disguises the music. Of course, your MMGA plug is also a part of this. Without this, the possible improvements would be severely curtailed. In this suppression system, it is not the individual who is the star, but everything together results in what I would like to call the star. And I don't want to advertise the significant increase in sound and musical abilities as a form of improvement. For me, it is much more a matter of taking away trash. The removal of effects and sound-producing trash. The result is stunningly good and always, absolutely and unreservedly, serves the music! I am absolutely thrilled and very happy to have had such experiences.

Thomas, thank you for that.

Best regards Michael D.
