J.R., Refine
Hello Mr. Schlipper,
I've been able to test and enjoy the Emotion signal cables and the reference for about 3 weeks! I would also like to write a few lines about what I have experienced for future users. I intensified my hobby about 7 years ago. When I purchased my first high-quality system back then, like so many others, I tried out the coveted and well-tested brands in the so-called “trade magazines”. After trying things out a lot and getting my wife's competent listening opinion, I came across the brand with the cardinal points, the so-called “divine” (N-O) cables. We liked them the best back then. And in the area of “gods,” I recently used the variant “a hand's breadth under absolute reference.” At least blessed with 19/20 points on Stereoplay, for example (at times this was even the reference). The testers attested this “simply impressive” sound and came to the conclusion that this “made music such an overwhelming experience.”
Well, what can I say today: I was initially slightly skeptical (probably due to my job) as to whether this cable (EMOTION) would improve listening pleasure. Another new cable on the market. But it just has to “get out” now, now I have this overwhelming experience and so much more joy and fun listening to music! In fact, I still don't understand the dynamics, precision and graduation that is possible in all frequency ranges. The voices and instruments are natural (and not discolored or nasal-sounding) in front of me, the spatial presentation is perfect. I feel the music and I can't hear speakers anymore! The stage in front of me is lively and very close in my head and listening experience. Only after this change can I truly enjoy my investment. Compared to previous cabling, I always come up with a pictorial comparison of the “washing machine”. I would actually attest to “your” (Refine) cable a component status! Only with this makes our hobby and investment in high-quality high-end sense! And compared to the “divine” calves, this variant is inexpensive!
