J. Lemke, Echo LS

Hello Mr. Schlipper, after I have now had enough time for audio samples with the Subbase Echo, I can report to you as follows. The processing from enquiry to ordering, status reports to delivery was very pleasant, friendly and certainly exemplary. The packaging of the bases would have suggested that a complete hi-fi system is being delivered. Quite professional. Damage due to transport is therefore largely ruled out. Disposing of the packaging is a bit more idle. The workmanship of the bases is of high quality and without any flaws. A real pleasure. I only missed a few suitable felt pads for use on flowing or Capricorns. About the sound experience: Belongs with LS Piega C40 & Sub Piega P1-MK2, Burmester 032/036 Biamping, CD Meridian 808, cabling with Kimber Select. Even at the first notes, the bass is unmistakable due to more present, very tight and bone-dry. The C40 allows me to trim the bass a bit, which benefits Leonard Cohen's now slightly resonant voice. In the lower frequency range, the sound has literally defused and is reflected by more speed and precision. Objectively speaking, I can't notice any significant changes in the mid and high frequency range. Maybe everything has a bit more flair and the playing style is a bit looser. The attempts with different spikes and pucks were only slightly noticeable. I can recommend the Subbase Echo at any time. They are undoubtedly a visual and acoustic addition to the chain. With friendly greetings, J. Lemke
