Hello Mr. Schlipper, a short report on the high-end bases: I only listen to jazz and classical music and play saxophone and clarinet myself (see www.hoerbar-jazz.de) - so authentic sound is important to me. But also my preference for active speakers. The system: LP 12 record player, preamplifier and CD player from Accuphase, speakers BM 12. The listening room has a parquet floor.Change due to the bases: The sound has gained in transparency and, above all, significantly in spatial depth and warmth; it has become more three-dimensional.
