Handcuff with function - MMGA
Dear readers,
As you may have already noticed last week, Thomas Schlipper has released another product.
As one of the first happy owners, I would like to draw a conclusion after three days of enjoying music with the new MMGA connector. When the package arrived at my home, I was really surprised. “What is in there?! “The weight seemed significantly too high for me at first. After unpacking, I couldn't help but be amazed. “What a part — unbelievable! ”
The look and feel of the earthing plug - a dream! Perfect bronze surface finishing including engravings, paired with the finest components; i.e. ebony pins for the L/N contact, Oyaide plug and silver-plated subbase socket. You really don't want to let go of the plug anymore. But now on to the sound. My expectations were not that high, especially for this product, as my starting position can already be described as optimized. My two Composant S equipment bases run with Ultima Musica ground cable (Refine) Star-shaped to Groundbox [Gen 2]. From there with another Ultima Musica grounding cable into a grounding plug modified with UM silver. After I had replaced my old plug with the new MMGA connector and listened to the first song, I was stunned at first! A massive change was immediately noticeable, which I really did not expect. An unprecedented sense of calm and lightness returns to the music. Noise is apparently reduced to a minimum, as the “background” becomes “black” in this way. The artists and instruments now look so authentic and lively that they are within reach! I can experience every song anew with unprecedented emotions and an unbelievable joy of playing. It is actually as if the use of the MMGA connector only allows the musicality with which the artists had originally composed and recorded the songs to be reproduced. In addition, I can see that the mere presence of the MMGA connector in my network bar brings a massive improvement with the features mentioned above. The actual grounding via the plug then makes it truly complete! After three days of use, I can still say that the plug is playing in over time and the stage and space are increasing more and the playback of the music is becoming more and more vivid. My guess is that the import process won't be over even today.
As a conclusion, I can only say that this product completely surprised me. The name “Make Music Great Again” clearly describes this grounding plug best. Furthermore, the MMGA connector shows that grounding is in fact not a “one-way street” and that the topic of “harmonization of electrical fields/ currents of the home earth” has received too little attention so far. According to this new impression, this topic is probably also essential for our playback chains!
In my opinion, the product is a “must have”.
