Volker L., Subbase Echo plus Ebonys
Hello Mr. Schlipper, here are my impressions from the first five days with my Subbase écho plus Ebonys: After I was able to try out your test bases for a few days, with the comments you know, and then tested out another alternative to room decoupling, I am now very satisfied that I have opted for the Echo subbase. I still have to say that I have converted the entire small signal cabling from high-end cables to versions from the pro audio sector about 3 weeks before the bases arrive. The result is almost neutral signal transmission with unbridled fine and rough dynamics. Better than comparable cables from the extreme high-end for several thousand euros. In the pro audio sector, there is “high end” for less than a hundred euros. This might also be of interest to you and your private system. -> Radio recording studio technology. The installation of the bases and the placement of the ascendos was done by 2 men with due care in a short time. The option of individual frame design is a perfect service, so the bases fit my >rack< very well. What immediately stands out is, of course, the slimmer bass. Free from amplifications caused by resonating screed, even the lowest notes now come with previously unheard fine drawing and wonderful modulation. If you now take into account that my listening room is completely optimized except for the loudspeaker floor decoupling, and that the music playback was extremely good before, the result of the “detoxification” is the icing on the cake in my way of enjoying music. Here you simply have to admit that you are not exaggerating on your website and in emails and that everything is comprehensible. But the best thing is that after a few Hours/days of low bass returning, a little missed at first, but now without drone effects. Whether it's because the base settles a bit under the weight of 50kg LS, or whatever the reason, the result is simply impressive! Of course, the overall resonance reduction has an effect on the entire playback. Voices are even clearer in the room, impulses are more concise, recording rooms in live recordings gain in depth (if available) - with some good masterings, the room also goes well beyond the LS. I could go on like this. The fact is, the Subbase Echó plus Ebonys are worth the money!!! It could be that I will contact you for my own web project, www.high-end-lounge.de. I wish you all the best, health and good luck with your bases for the coming year! Volker L.
